The annual ranking of corporate websites conducted by KWD Webranking has measured how well the largest listed companies by market cap respond to target groups’ expectations. 950 websites in 40 countries have been reviewed. In the 2011-2012 ranking of corporate websites, KWD has looked at how well the 27 largest listed companies in the Netherlands live up to target group needs. Below you can see how they perform.

  1. All companies have the latest annual report on the corporate website. All but one publishes the latest interim report in PDF.
  2. 89% offer at least 3 years of archived presentation material.
  3. 37% give information about their different markets and market shares. 22% present a list of company peers supported by historic performance data.
  4. All companies provide financial calendars but Corio is the only one to provide at the time of the ranking all the following details: 3-4 reporting dates, the date for AGM 2011 and 2012, future dividend dates and capital market days.
  5. All companies have structured archives for annual reports as well as for interim reports.
  6. 94% present neither financial goals nor a description on how to reach them.
  7. All but two companies have the latest press releases on the home page.
  8. 70% do not describe growth drivers and do not give an indication of their future performance.
  9. 2 out of 5 provide both a general and personal IR-contact.
  10. More than half (52%) have some form of information about their interest bearing liabilities.
