What challenges and opportunities are facing Web Managers in 2015? Well, this year’s Web Management Report has some interesting findings.
For instance, despite the fact that content marketing is all the rage, our survey found that 76% of respondents don’t have a documented content strategy.
Likewise, not a single Web Manager was fully satisfied with their corporate social media activities. Some feel that there isn’t enough value in corporate social media or that it is difficult to find topics to connect with audiences. However, did you know that companies with IR content on their Twitter feeds have an average of 40% more followers; and those with CSR content have an average of 70% more followers.
The Web Management Report is a yearly report produced by Comprend. It is based on the results from the Web Management Survey, which is carried out to understand what Web Managers and others responsible for corporate websites see as their challenges and opportunities in 2015. The purpose is to let them share knowledge with each other and help them build their cases internally by referring to what others are doing.
The report summarises the responses of the survey which was sent out in February 2015. We asked questions ranging from the size of the corporate website budget to the importance of social media and content marketing in corporate communications. Our research gives a good insight into what companies will focus on over the next 12 months and what issues are important to them.
