Just like the last few years, the web presence of 50 listed companies in Finland outperform all European counterparts in the 20th edition of Webranking by Comprend. The overall average score of Finnish companies is 59.1 out of 100, which is 3.5 points higher than last year. Despite a strong performance, Finnish companies show a minor decrease in the fulfilment of providing share information to their investors and analysts. However, Finland is still unbeatable in the financial sections related to investor relations, the share, reporting and in governance.
The Swedish capital market questions digital annual reports – is digital really wrong or are we just doing it the wrong way?
Are digital reports really wrong or are we just doing it the wrong way? In Comprends’ yearly surveys of the capital market up to 91% of respondents prefer a downloadable PDF as their medium for reading annual reports. The trend among Sweden’s top 100 companies is caused by a stagnation in number of digital reports available in 2016. Analysts and regular readers of financial reports say the PDF format is user friendly, dependable and makes data easy to compare to other reports.

This year's results show that Danish companies have a slightly weaker web presence in comparison to last year – resulting in reduced average scores in every section except governance and functions.

However, Orkla's website is an exception and is ranked as number 1 in Norway.
